“This illustration was created for the Norwegian Easter Holiday for Netflix and it’s linked to the tradition of binge watching crime series on Easter day. I started out sketching a few compositions in black and white, then went into color explorations, employing a dark and warm color palette to capture the desired mysterious, cozy, and warm atmosphere. Shapes and perspective are slightly distorted, enhancing that air of mystery and positivity. It was fun to incorporate the small details, such as the notes on the crime board, the books, and the comic on the carton milk.”
